EMS Ltd emerges L-1 bidder for ₹218.65 Cr Rajasthan sewerage project

EMS Limited has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L-1) for a sewerage project valued at approximately ₹218.65 crore (including GST) from the Directorate of Local Bodies, Government of Rajasthan. The project involves sewerage and septage management across six Urban Local Bodies in Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, and Churu districts. The scope includes sewerage systems with STPs, laying, testing, and commissioning, along with a one-year defect liability period and 10 years of Operations & Maintenance (O&M). This L-1 status strengthens EMS Limited's order pipeline, reinforcing its position in water and wastewater infrastructure, particularly in Rajasthan. The company's order book stood at ₹2,328.91 crore as of June 30, 2026. This development follows a recent L-1 status for a ₹102.85 crore project in Varanasi.
