Escorts Kubota Breaks Ground on ₹2,000 Cr UP Manufacturing Plant

Escorts Kubota Limited has initiated construction of a new greenfield manufacturing plant in Uttar Pradesh, India. The 154-acre facility, located in YEIDA, will be developed in phases with an indicative investment of over ₹2,000 crore. This expansion is part of the company's long-term growth strategy and aims to bolster its manufacturing capacity for tractors, farm implements, construction equipment, and engines. Upon completion, it is expected to be one of the largest manufacturing sites within the Kubota Group globally. The plant will serve both domestic and international markets and is projected to create significant employment opportunities. Phase 1 will focus on increasing capacity for tractors and construction equipment. The project will be funded through proceeds from a preferential issue to Kubota Corporation and internal accruals. The strategic location offers excellent connectivity for distribution and exports.
