Exide India Partners ExCom Germany for European Battery Business

Exide Industries Limited (India) and ExCom Energy Solutions GmbH (Germany) have entered into a long-term strategic cooperation agreement to strengthen their industrial battery and energy storage systems business across the European Economic Area (EEA). The collaboration will leverage Exide India's manufacturing capabilities and ExCom GmbH's market presence and application engineering. Products will be marketed under the ExCom brand, initially focusing on traction and motive-power battery solutions, as well as stationary battery systems. Both companies see potential for future expansion into advanced chemistry solutions.
