IHH Healthcare Subsidiary Appeals Tokyo Court Judgment

Fortis Healthcare's promoter shareholder, Northern TK Venture Pte Ltd (NTK), an indirect subsidiary of IHH Healthcare, has filed an appeal with the Tokyo High Court against a September 10, 2026 judgment by the Tokyo District Court. NTK believes the judgment warrants appellate review. IHH Healthcare claims losses due to delays in mandatory tender offer approvals for its Fortis Healthcare acquisition, stemming from a dispute between Daiichi Sankyo and judgment debtors, to which IHH was not a party. IHH reaffirms its commitment to India as a strategic market and plans to increase its stake in Fortis to 51% in the next three to five years.
