Fortis Hospotel Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fortis Healthcare Ltd, has signed definitive agreements with Seth Sunder Lal Jain Charitable Eye Hospital (SLJ Society). The agreement is for providing healthcare and medical services and facilitating the construction, upgrade, and operation of a 400+ bedded super specialty hospital in Ashok Vihar, New Delhi. Fortis Hospotel will have exclusive rights to provide specified inpatient healthcare services and specialized equipment for a committed term of 29 years, with an option to extend. The hospital is expected to commence operations in 3-4 years. Fortis will also provide a phased loan to SLJ Society for construction and upgradation. This collaboration aims to enhance access to quality healthcare in North-West Delhi.
