Garware Hi-Tech Films: DGTR Recommends Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese TPU

Garware Hi-Tech Films Limited has received final findings from the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) recommending the imposition of anti-dumping duty on imports of "Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) based surface/Paint Protection Film" originating from the People's Republic of China. The DGTR's recommendation is to impose a duty equal to the lesser of the margin of dumping and the margin of injury to protect the domestic industry. As a manufacturer of TPU-based PPF, Garware Hi-Tech Films is expected to benefit from this measure. The final notification is pending from the Central Government.
