GE Power India receives NCLT order sanctioning demerger scheme

GE Power India Limited has received the certified copy of the order from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai Bench, dated October 1, 2026. This order sanctions the Scheme of Arrangement for the demerger of GE Power India Limited (Demerged Company) into JSW Energy Limited (Resulting Company). The scheme involves the transfer and vesting of the 'Demerged Business', which includes the manufacture and supply of power boiler components, pressure vessels, piping, and coal mills for thermal power plants at the Durgapur Facility, from GE Power India to JSW Energy. The company will announce the Effective Date and Record Date in due course.
