GK Energy Secures 150 MW BESS Project from MSEDCL

GK Energy Limited has received a Letter of Award from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for setting up 150 MW / 300 MWh Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Maharashtra. The project includes VGF support and is to be commissioned within 18 months of signing the Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA). The contract has a tariff of ₹2,38,000 per MW per month, projecting yearly revenues of ₹42.84 Crores (excluding GST) for 15 years post-commercial operations. This award signifies a significant business development for GK Energy in the renewable energy storage sector.
