GK Energy Limited has announced receiving a Letter of Empanelment from a state government-owned power utility for Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic Projects. The company is allocated 1kW rooftop solar capacity for 1 lakh households, totaling 100 MW with a contract value of approximately ₹454.50 Crore (including GST). This adds to their existing empanelments worth over ₹1,092 Crores since April 1, 2026. GK Energy will handle design, installation, testing, commissioning, and O&M for five years. The projects are expected to be completed within 60 days of work order issuance. This development significantly expands GK Energy's presence in the rooftop solar segment and aligns with India's renewable energy goals.
