Glenmark Pharma advances Phase 3 trial for ovarian cancer drug
Glenmark Specialty S.A., a subsidiary of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd., has advanced its multi-country Phase 3 clinical trial for Trastuzumab rezetecan (SHR-A1811), a HER2-targeted antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), for patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer (PROC). India will be the first licensed market to initiate patient enrollment, following DCGI approval. Additional enrollments are planned for Australia and South Korea, pending regulatory approvals. This trial aligns with Hengrui Pharma's ongoing parent Phase 3 trial in China and aims to gather data from diverse patient populations to support the drug's development across Glenmark's licensed markets. Trastuzumab rezetecan is a first-in-class ADC developed by Hengrui Pharma, which Glenmark licensed in September 2025.
