GHL to acquire 79-bed cancer hospital in Indore for ₹30 Cr

Global Health Ltd (GHL) announced its Board approved the acquisition of a 79-bedded Cancer Care Hospital in Indore from Asian Institute of Oncology Private Limited for ₹30 crores in cash. The acquisition, expected to complete before September 30, 2026, will add to GHL's Medanta network, increasing its bed capacity by 79. The target hospital, which had a turnover of ₹19.9 million in FY24-25, is strategically located 500 meters from GHL's existing Indore facility, promising seamless integration and operational synergies. The deal will be funded by internal accruals and debt, strengthening Medanta's presence and specialized cancer care offerings in the region.
