Global Health Limited (Medanta) announced the takeover of an 80-bedded Cancer Hospital in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, through a Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) with Asian Institute of Oncology Private Limited. The acquisition, valued at ₹30 crores, includes the assignment of a long-term lease. This strategic move strengthens Medanta's presence in Central India, complementing its existing 175-bedded multi-specialty hospital in Indore. Located just 500 meters from the current facility, the new hospital will enable Medanta to launch a comprehensive oncology program, enhancing its specialty offerings. The integration is expected to drive operational synergies, optimize capacity utilization, and improve patient flow across both facilities, reinforcing Medanta's commitment to advanced, patient-centric healthcare in the region.
