DIAL Wins Tariff Appeal at TDSAT; AERA to Implement Ruling

GMR Airports Ltd's subsidiary, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), has successfully appealed against the tariff order issued by the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA) for the fourth control period (2024-2029). The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) ruled in favor of DIAL on all issues, including the non-implementation of a previous TDSAT order. AERA is mandated to implement this judgment within three months, unless they file a further appeal. This favorable ruling is expected to positively impact DIAL's financial standing regarding aeronautical tariffs.
