GMR Airports Traffic Up 0.9% YoY in Sep'26
GMR Airports reported a 0.9% year-on-year increase in passenger traffic for September 2026, serving 9.2 million passengers across its portfolio. Domestic traffic remained largely unchanged YoY at 6.9 million, while international traffic saw a 3.5% increase to 2.4 million. For the first half of FY27 (H1 FY27), the company achieved its highest-ever H1 total passenger traffic of 58.2 million, driven by domestic growth at Delhi Airport. Delhi Airport also reported its highest-ever H1 volumes across total, domestic, and international passenger traffic, as well as aircraft movements and cargo throughput. Hyderabad Airport recorded its highest-ever H1 cargo throughput. Despite overall growth, muted international traffic was attributed to geopolitical instability in West Asia, and subdued domestic growth was due to airline route rationalization and supply-side constraints in Indonesia.
