Gokul Agro Receives Customs Show Cause Notice for ₹53 Cr Drawback Allegations

Gokul Agro Resources Limited has received a Show Cause Notice from the Principal Commissioner of Customs, Mundra port, alleging violations of the Customs Act, 1962. The notice pertains to the unlawful availing of Duty Drawback and RoDTEP Scrips amounting to ₹14.52 crore and ₹38.46 crore, respectively, for exported goods. The period under scrutiny is from May 11, 2021, to December 19, 2025. Despite the significant alleged amounts, the company, based on preliminary assessment and legal advice, does not foresee any financial liability and is preparing a response with its legal advisors. No penalty or restriction has been imposed at this stage.
