GP Petroleums Appoints Rahul Shetty as Independent Director

GP Petroleums Ltd announced the appointment of Mr. Rahul Arun Shetty as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director. The appointment is for a period of two years, commencing September 21, 2026, and is subject to member approval. Mr. Shetty brings over 20 years of experience in investment banking and real estate, having previously worked with Lehman Brothers, Nomura, and Barclays. He is currently the Founder & Director of Optimus Investments and serves as a Non-Executive Independent Director for Vedanta Power. His appointment was recommended by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and will also see him join the Audit Committee and the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee.
