Greenply Industries Subsidiary Adds 15 Mn Sq. Mtr. Capacity

Greenply Industries Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Greenply Sandila Private Limited, will expand its manufacturing capacity for plywood and allied products. The proposed addition is 15.00 million Sq. Mtr. per annum, with completion expected by Q4 of FY 2028. This expansion requires an investment of approximately ₹125 crores, financed through term loans, equity from the holding company, and internal accruals. The rationale behind this move is the expectation that near-term demand for plywood and allied products will surpass the current available capacity.
