GSPL Transmission: ICICI Prudential MF crosses 5% stake

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has disclosed its shareholding in GSPL Transmission Ltd (GTL), crossing the 5% threshold. The acquisition, which occurred on July 17, 2026, via a Scheme of Arrangement (Demerger) from Gujarat Energy Ltd (GEL), resulted in the Fund holding 1,79,69,586 shares, representing 5.75% of GTL's paid-up capital. GTL's total paid-up capital post-demerger is 31,27,43,617 shares. The fund clarified that these holdings are for investment purposes and not to seek control.
