
GACL Reports Record Q1 Revenue of ₹1,224.84 Cr, EBITDA Up 83%
Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd (GACL) announced its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹1,224.84 Crores, a 14% increase year-on-year. EBITDA surged by 83% to ₹229 Crores, driven by strong operating performance and increased renewable energy integration, which now accounts for 59% of its power consumption. Profit Before Tax saw a significant jump of 1000% to ₹110 Crores. The company also received in-principle approval for a new HCL synthesis Unit at Dahej, costing approximately ₹55 Crores, to optimize chlorine utilization and support its upcoming Phosphoric Acid plant. GACL continues to focus on efficiency improvements through Project Ahvaan.
