Gujarat Mineral Development Corp Appoints Ajay Bhadoo as MD

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd (GMDC) has announced the appointment of Shri Ajay Bhadoo, IAS, as its new Managing Director. This appointment is effective from September 29, 2026, following a notification from the Government of Gujarat. Shri Bhadoo replaces Shri Roopwant Singh, IAS, who has ceased to hold the position. Shri Bhadoo brings extensive experience in public administration and policy implementation, having held various senior roles including Deputy Election Commissioner and CEO of Government e Marketplace (GeM). His profile includes a Civil Engineering degree and a Master's in Business Law.
