HCLTech to Invest ₹14,257 Cr in Odisha AI Data Center

HCLTech announced plans to establish its first AI Data Center in the Odisha Sovereign AI Park, a significant investment of ₹14,257 crores. This project, undertaken in partnership with Sarvam and the Government of Odisha, aims to accelerate India's sovereign AI capabilities and data ecosystem. The investment will leverage HCLTech's AI expertise and Sarvam's foundation models to develop sector-specific AI applications for public and private enterprises, supporting the government's sovereignty needs and promoting multi-lingual AI services. The initiative aligns with India's Digital India and Atmanirbhar Bharat visions, with a Memorandum of Understanding signed by key stakeholders.
