HDFC Life: Vibha Padalkar re-appointed as MD & CEO for 5 years

HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd's Board of Directors, based on the Nomination and Remuneration Committee's recommendation, has approved the re-appointment of Ms. Vibha Padalkar as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer. Her new term will be for a period of five years, effective from September 12, 2026. This re-appointment is contingent upon approval from the shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting and the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI). Ms. Padalkar, who joined HDFC Life in 2008, has held several leadership roles, contributing significantly to the company's financial framework, successful listing in 2017, and leading the first M&A transaction in the Indian life insurance sector.
