Hikal Ltd Appoints Sameer Hiremath as CMD for 5 Years

Hikal Ltd announced the appointment of Mr. Sameer Hiremath as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) for a term of five years, effective October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2031. This appointment is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). Mr. Hiremath, currently Vice Chairman and Managing Director, brings nearly three decades of experience and deep institutional knowledge to the role. He holds degrees in Petrochemical Engineering, an MBA, and an MS in Information Technology from Boston University. The board's decision was based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee. Mr. Hiremath is not debarred from holding a director's office.
