Himadri Speciality Chemical Approves Capex for Anthraquinone, CNT, SSCB

Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd announced board approval for significant capital expenditures. This includes an additional ₹128 Crores to expand Anthraquinone and Carbazole manufacturing capacity from 2600 MTPA to 5300 MTPA, with phased commissioning by Q2FY27 and Q2FY28. The company also approved ₹70 Crores for India's first Carbon Nano Tubes (CNT) manufacturing facility in West Bengal, with a capacity of 200 MTPA, expected by Q4FY27. Furthermore, a capex of ₹170 Crores is allocated for Super Speciality Carbon Black (SSCB) manufacturing with a capacity of 6,000 MTPA, to be commissioned by Q4FY28. These expansions are primarily funded through internal accruals and align with the company's strategy to focus on high-value products and reduce import dependency.
