HCC Secures ₹524 Crore NHPC Contract in J&K

Hindustan Construction Company Limited (HCC) has been awarded a contract worth approximately ₹524.17 crore by NHPC Limited for civil and hydro-mechanical works at the Salal Power Station in Jammu & Kashmir. The project aims to make the undersluices of the concrete dam fully functional and operational. This contract, with a duration of 27 months, is expected to enhance the dam's operational efficiency, improve sediment management, and strengthen its long-term safety and reliability. The award reinforces HCC's extensive experience in executing landmark infrastructure projects in Jammu & Kashmir, including significant contributions to the region's hydropower capacity.
