Hindustan Zinc Appoints Dr. Yogesh Attray as Non-Executive Independent Director

Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) announced the appointment of Dr. Yogesh Attray as a non-official part-time Director on its Board. This appointment, effective August 14, 2026, is for a period of three years or until further orders. Dr. Attray, who holds a Ph.D. in Political Science, brings over two decades of experience in education, administration, social development, and agriculture. He is the Chairman of Bhartiya Prashikshan Sansthan and owner of Attray Organics Farmhouse. The company confirmed that Dr. Attray meets the independence criteria and is not debarred from holding a director's office. He is not related to any existing Directors of HZL.
