Hindustan Zinc: SBICAP Trustee Releases Pledged Shares

SBICAP Trustee Company Ltd has disclosed the release of pledged shares in Hindustan Zinc Limited. Previously, 5.15 crore shares (1.22% of total capital) were released. This action reduces the encumbered shares held by SBICAP Trustee to 2.22 billion shares, representing 52.54% of the total diluted share capital. The release pertains to shares pledged as security for lenders to Vedanta Limited. The total equity share capital of Hindustan Zinc Limited remains at 422.53 crore shares.
