Hindustan Zinc Signs 6-Year Deal for 30 Electric Trucks

Hindustan Zinc Limited has entered into a six-year transportation agreement with MFL India Limited for the deployment of 30 electric trucks. This initiative aims to transport zinc and lead concentrate from the Rampura Agucha mine to its smelting operations in Rajasthan, accelerating the company's mine-to-smelter decarbonisation efforts. MFL India Limited will also establish and operate dedicated EV charging infrastructure. This move aligns with Hindustan Zinc's broader decarbonisation roadmap to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2050 and builds on its existing green logistics fleet, which included 232 vehicles (52 EVs and 180 LNG vehicles) by FY2026.
