Honasa Consumer Acquires 58% of Fluence Pharma for ~₹135 Cr

Honasa Consumer Ltd's board has approved the acquisition of a 58% majority stake in Fluence Pharma Private Limited for an enterprise value of approximately ₹135 Crores. Fluence Pharma specializes in condition-specific OTC supplements under brands like 'Hair Fact, Skin Fact, and Pro Fact', utilizing a patented Cyclical Nutrition Therapy. The company also plans to acquire the remaining 42% stake in tranches over 5-7 years. Additionally, Honasa Consumer will incorporate a wholly owned subsidiary, 'Honasa Health Private Limited', to manage its nutraceuticals B2C operations. This move signifies Honasa's entry into the growing nutraceuticals market, leveraging Fluence Pharma's established presence and science-led approach.
