Indegene Subsidiary's TCPA Lawsuit Gets Preliminary Settlement Approval

Indegene Limited announced a material development in the class-action lawsuit against its wholly-owned subsidiary, Indegene, Inc., concerning the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), 1991. On August 27, 2026, the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey, issued an order preliminarily approving the proposed settlement. The court also approved the notice process, appointed Analytics as the Settlement Administrator, and scheduled the final approval hearing for January 12, 2027. The settlement framework includes a maximum settlement fund of approximately USD 4.72 million, with payments of USD 250 per eligible approved claim on a claims-made basis. This preliminary approval is subject to the completion of the notice and claims process and final court approval.
