Indian Bank Appoints Manasa Gangotri Kata as GOI Nominee Director

Indian Bank has announced the appointment of Ms. Manasa Gangotri Kata as a Government of India (GOI) Nominee Director on its Board. Ms. Kata, an Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Indirect Taxes) officer from the 2007 batch, assumed office on October 23, 2026. She holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay and a Master's in Business Law from NLSIU, Bengaluru. Her prior experience includes roles in Customs, GST, and the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, with postings in Chennai Customs. She was also appointed Director in the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, in December 2024.
