Indian Bank has revised its Marginal Cost of Funds based Lending Rate (MCLR) and Treasury Bills Linked Lending Rates (TBLR), effective from June 3, 2026. The Asset Liability Management Committee (ALCO) made the decision after review. Base Rate, Benchmark Prime Lending Rate (BPLR), Policy Repo Rate and RBLR remain unchanged. The revisions impact various tenors of MCLR and TBLR, with increases observed in most categories.

Indian Bank has announced its 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled to be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, via video conferencing and other audio-visual means. The meeting is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. (IST). Asset quality improved, with Gross NPA down by 111 bps to 1.98% and Net NPA down by 4 bps to 0.15%. RAM (Retail, Agriculture, MSME) segment grew by 15.18% year-on-year.

Indian Bank announced the appointment of Shri Samir Kumar as the Government of India (GOI) Nominee Director on the Board of the Bank, effective May 13, 2026. Shri Kumar, from the Indian Economic Service (1995 batch), currently serves as Economic Adviser in the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance. He has experience in various government departments, including the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, where he was involved with the Swachh Bharat Mission-Grameen & Jal Jeevan Mission. He also serves as a Government Nominee Director on the Board of CERSAI.

Indian Bank has announced reassignments for two senior management personnel, effective May 1, 2026. Shri Ganda Rajeswara Reddy, previously Chief General Manager - Recovery, will now serve as Chief General Manager - Estate / BOD / ES to MD & CEO and Secretary to Board. He brings over 33 years of banking experience. Shri Deepak Gupta, who was General Manager – CO: Corporate Credit, has been promoted to Chief General Manager - CO: Corporate Credit, with over 31 years of banking experience. These changes are part of the bank's internal management restructuring.

Indian Bank announced the retirement of Shri Sukh Sagar Prasad Roy, Chief General Manager - Estate / BOD / ES to MD & CEO and Secretary to Board of the Bank. He demitted office on April 30, 2026, upon superannuation. Consequently, he ceases to hold his positions with effect from May 1, 2026. This is a routine management change due to a scheduled retirement.

Indian Bank released an updated presentation on the audited financial results for the fourth quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026. Key performance highlights include total business of ₹14.95 lakh Cr, with deposits at ₹8.28 lakh Cr and advances at ₹6.67 lakh Cr. The CASA ratio stands at 40.85%. The bank's net profit is ₹3103 Cr with a RoE of 11.33%. GNPA is at 1.98% and NNPA at 0.48%.

Indian Bank announced its audited financial results for Q4 and FY2025-26, showcasing strong growth and improved asset quality. For FY26, net profit accelerated by 11.33% YoY to ₹12156 crore. In Q4 FY26, net profit increased by 4.97% YoY to ₹3103 crore, with operating profit improving by 5.32% YoY to ₹5286 crore. Net Interest Income (NII) grew by 11.27% YoY to ₹7109 crore in Q4. Total business expanded by 12.79%, driven by a 62% surge in credit sanctions and 12.29% deposit growth, maintaining a domestic CASA ratio of 39.67%. Gross Advances rose by 13.43% YoY to ₹667113 crore, with RAM advances growing by 15.18%. Asset quality significantly improved, with GNPA decreasing by 111 bps YoY to 1.98% and NNPA reducing to 0.15%. The Provision Coverage Ratio (PCR) improved to 98.28%, and Capital Adequacy Ratio stood at 17.93%.
