Indian Energy Exchange Appoints Alok Kumar Jha as Head Business Development

Indian Energy Exchange Ltd has announced the appointment of Mr. Alok Kumar Jha as the Head of Business Development, a Senior Vice President role, effective August 13, 2026. Mr. Jha brings over 29 years of extensive experience in the energy, renewable energy, power, and transportation sectors, having held leadership positions at companies like INOX Wind, GE Power, Alstom Transport, and Bombardier Transport India. His expertise spans business strategy, project development, sales, operations, and large-scale infrastructure projects, with a proven track record in renewable energy businesses and landmark initiatives in railways, power, and nuclear energy. Mr. Jha holds an MBA from the University of Delhi, a Chemical Engineering degree from B.I.T. Sindri, and has completed an Executive Leadership Program from INSEAD.
