Indian Oil Corporation Ltd has announced a change in its Corporate Identification Number (CIN) from L23201MH1959GO1I011388 to L19201MH1959GO1011388. This change is a consequence of the amendment in the object clause of its Memorandum of Association (MoA) and the adoption of a new set of Articles of Association (AoA). The alteration in CIN is due to a re-categorization of the company's principal industrial activity from NIC 1998 code 23201 to NIC 2008 code 19201. The company's core business of refining, transportation, marketing, and distribution of petroleum products remains unchanged. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs approved this change upon reviewing the MGT-14 filing.
