Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) has been fined ₹10,23,060 each by BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited for non-compliance with SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, concerning the composition of its Board of Directors and Committees for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The non-compliance relates to the appointment of Independent Directors. IRCTC stated that as a Government Company, the appointment power rests with the President of India, represented by the Ministry of Railways, and it is actively following up for the requisite appointments.
