IndiGrid's Rajasthan BESS Project Achieves Commercial Operation

IndiGrid Infrastructure Trust announced that its special purpose vehicle, Rajasthan BESS Private Limited (RBPL), has achieved Commercial Operation Date (COD) on October 27, 2026. The project is a 250 MW / 500 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage System in Rajasthan, developed under a Build Own Operate (BOO) model. It is expected to generate an annual revenue exceeding INR 71 Crore over a 12-year concession period. RBPL was developed in partnership with British International Investment Plc. (BII) and KNI India AS (KNI), who hold minority stakes. Following the COD, IndiGrid will provide an exit to BII and KNI as per the Share Purchase Agreement.
