Indo Count to Expand Spinning Facility with ₹60 Cr Investment

Indo Count Industries Ltd has approved a brownfield expansion project for its spinning facility in Alte, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The project aims to increase the installed capacity from 70,000 spindles to 94,000 spindles with a capital expenditure of approximately ₹60 crore. The expansion is expected to be operational by Q2 of FY 2027. Additionally, the existing spinning mill in Gokul Shirgaon, Kolhapur, will be modernized with an outlay of ~₹25 Crore to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. The CAPEX will be funded through a mix of debt and internal accruals, aimed at balancing the facility towards more value-added products.
