
Indo Tech Transformers Approves ₹360 Cr CAPEX for Capacity Expansion
Indo Tech Transformers Ltd announced a significant capacity expansion plan with a new Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) proposal of INR 360 Crores. This investment aims to enhance plant capacity to 50,000 MVA up to the 400 KV range of Transformers, to be executed over Financial Years 2028-2029. This new initiative supplements earlier CAPEX approvals totaling INR 110 Crores, which are currently in progress. The company's existing capacity is 14,000 MVA with an 80-90% utilization rate. The proposed addition aims to bring the total capacity to 25,000 MVA by March 2029. The total investment for this expansion, including previous approvals, amounts to INR 495 Crores, to be financed through internal accruals and bank borrowings.
