Jindal Stainless Partners JFE Steel for Ferritic Stainless Steel

Jindal Stainless Ltd has signed a Technical Assistance Agreement with Japan's JFE Steel Corporation to enhance its manufacturing capabilities for specific ferritic stainless steel grades. This collaboration aims to improve product quality, manufacturing practices, and process efficiency. The agreement is strategic, given the accelerating global demand for stainless steel across various sectors like automotive, infrastructure, and railways, driven by its corrosion resistance and durability. Ferritic stainless steel is identified as a key growth segment due to its cost-efficiency and sustainability. Jindal Stainless, with a turnover of ₹42,955 crore in FY26 and a melt capacity of 4.2 million tonnes, seeks to leverage JFE Steel's expertise to strengthen its market position and deliver greater customer value.
