Jindal Stainless Supplies 40% Steel for India's First Hydrogen Train

Jindal Stainless has supplied approximately 40% of the stainless steel required for India's first hydrogen-powered train. The premium austenitic stainless steel grade X5CrNi1810, sourced from their Jajpur and Hisar plants, was used in the coach body fabrication. This initiative highlights stainless steel's suitability for cleaner, safer, and more energy-efficient mobility solutions, aligning with India's 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' vision. Managing Director Abhyuday Jindal emphasized the company's commitment to providing advanced material solutions for sustainable transportation infrastructure. Jindal Stainless has a long-standing relationship with Indian Railways, having supplied materials for various landmark projects.
