JK Tyre appoints Mandar Deo as President - India

JK Tyre & Industries Ltd announced the appointment of Shri Mandar Vighnahari Deo as President - India, effective April 14, 2026. Shri Deo, aged 50, holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, a Master's degree, a PhD, and an MBA. His last position was Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Exide Energy Solutions Limited, where he was instrumental in establishing India's first lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility with an investment exceeding ₹6,000 crores. Prior to Exide, he spent approximately 20 years with Cummins India and Cummins Inc., holding multiple leadership roles across various business units, managing P&L responsibilities, and leading diverse teams. His extensive industry knowledge and leadership experience are expected to significantly contribute to JK Tyre's profitable growth and its vision of being a Green and Trusted Mobility Partner.
