JSW Energy: MSEDCL Files Appeal with Supreme Court Against APTEL Order

JSW Energy Ltd has announced an update regarding material litigation. Following an earlier disclosure on August 20, 2026, where the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL) dismissed Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited's (MSEDCL) appeal against a Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC) order, MSEDCL has now filed a fresh appeal. On August 20, 2026, JSW Energy was served with a copy of MSEDCL's appeal filed before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, challenging the APTEL's order.
