JSW Steel completes Piombino Steel amalgamation

JSW Steel Limited has announced the effectiveness of the Scheme of Amalgamation of Piombino Steel Limited with JSW Steel Limited. The amalgamation, sanctioned by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on October 16, 2026, became effective on October 31, 2026, with an appointed date of January 1, 2026. This follows the filing of the NCLT's certified order with the Registrar of Companies. Consequently, Piombino Steel Limited has been amalgamated into JSW Steel Limited. The authorized share capital of JSW Steel has been revised to ₹2,79,80,00,00,000, comprising 1,90,30,00,00,000 equity shares of ₹1 each and 8,95,00,00,000 preference shares of ₹10 each.
