Jtekt India Receives ₹26.9 Lakh Tax Demand Notices

Jtekt India Ltd has received three notices of assessment and demand from the Excise and Taxation Officer-cum Assessing Authority in Gurugram, Haryana. The notices, issued under Section 9 of the Haryana Tax on Entry of Goods into Local Areas Act 2008, pertain to the financial years 2015-16 to 2017-18. The company is directed to pay an aggregate amount of ₹26,91,900/- for non-payment of the specified tax. Jtekt India stated that there is no material impact on its financials or operations as it is in the process of filing a reply to the notices.
