Kalyani Cast-Tech gets RDSO Stage-I wagon design approval

Kalyani Cast-Tech Ltd has received Stage-I Concept Design Approval from the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO), Ministry of Railways, for its new wagon design intended for carrying ISO/domestic/dwarf containers. This approval, granted under the Procedure for New Wagon Design Approval (PWDA) Scheme, is a significant milestone for the company. It is expected to bolster Kalyani Cast-Tech's expansion efforts in the railway wagon sector and open new avenues in container transportation. The company must now submit documents for Stage-II ('Detail Design Approval') as per the PWDA policy, incorporating modifications to the guard container design and providing dynamics simulation reports.
