KFIL Q2 FY27 Revenue Up 17% to ₹2,047 Cr, PBT Rises 15%
Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited (KFIL) announced its unaudited financial results for the second quarter of FY2027, reporting a standalone revenue of INR 2,047 Crore, a 17% increase year-on-year. Profit Before Tax (PBT) also saw a significant jump of 15% year-on-year to INR 138 Crore. The company attributed this growth to optimized capacity utilization, with record steel volume of 26,606 MT and gross casting sales volume exceeding 50,000 MT. Proactive cost management helped protect margins despite rising coking coal prices and rupee depreciation. KFIL plans to expand steel and casting capacities, leveraging its new solar energy capacity and ongoing projects to enhance cost competitiveness. Consolidated revenue also grew 17% to INR 2,047 Crore, with PBT increasing by 15% to INR 138 Crore. The results reflect the impact of the merger with Oliver Engineering Private Limited and Adicca Energy Solutions Private Limited, with prior year numbers restated.
