
KPI Green Energy: 120 MW Battery Energy Storage Deal with GUVNL
KPI Green Energy's subsidiary, Sun Drops Energia, has secured a Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for a 120 MW / 240 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. This follows an earlier 445 MW / 890 MWh BESPA with GUVNL, bringing the group's cumulative BESS portfolio to 565 MW / 1,130 MWh. The project, supported by Viability Gap Funding (VGF), will be located near 220kV substations in Gujarat and operated on a long-term basis.
