KSB Ltd Expands Shirwal Plant Capacity by 20%

KSB Ltd has announced the construction of an additional shed at its Shirwal plant in Satara, Maharashtra, as a capacity expansion measure. The new shed, built on recently purchased adjacent land, will be used for manufacturing Project pumps, piping, painting, and packing. This expansion is driven by future business visibility in the Energy (Conventional and Nuclear) and Oil and Gas sectors. The existing capacity at Shirwal is around 1200 pumps per year with 90% utilization. The proposed capacity addition is estimated at 20%, expected to be operational by 2027, with an investment of INR 400 Million funded through internal accruals.
