Lenskart Solutions Incorporates Joint Venture 'Lenskart Metalframes'

Lenskart Solutions Limited has announced the incorporation of its joint venture company, 'Lenskart Metalframes Private Limited', on July 30, 2026. This JV is a strategic partnership with China-based Mingfeng Glassesworld Limited (MGL), aimed at enhancing Lenskart's manufacturing capabilities, supply chain efficiency, and promoting local manufacturing of metal frames. Lenskart Solutions will hold an 80% stake, with MGL holding 20%. The JV will focus on manufacturing metal spectacle frames and allied optical products. This move is expected to reduce dependence on imports and strengthen domestic production.
