Lime Chemicals: Chairman Resigns, New Chairman and Director Appointed

Lime Chemicals Ltd has announced changes in its board of directors. Mr. Avinash Jhaveri, Non-Executive Independent Director and Chairman, has resigned effective August 4, 2026, citing personal commitments. The Board of Directors, in a meeting held on the same date, appointed Mr. Samir Kumar Das as the new Non-Executive Independent Director and Chairman. Additionally, Ms. Rakhi Jayantilal Upadhay has been appointed as a Non-Executive Independent Director. The company has also reconstituted its Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, Stakeholders Grievance Committee, and Risk Management Committee following these appointments.
